This week is Dementia Action Week; a time to raise awareness and to act on making changes to attitudes towards dementia, and help to raise funds for people living with the condition.
To mark this week of awareness, Herts Careline is attending an event at the University of Hertfordshire which focuses on improving the social and physical environment for people living with dementia.
During the event there will be a presentation about the university’s research in the field of dementia, and discussions about ways in which social and physical environments can be created or adapted to improve quality of life for people living with dementia. One of the key areas is how assistive technology and other technologies can be used to promote community engagement. See how our assisitve technology service can help those living with dementia.
