Halloween will look a lot different this year, and we’re hoping people of Hertfordshire will play their part and only celebrate Halloween safely, helping to save lives by preventing the spread of the coronavirus.
We worry every year that trick or treaters will make those in our care worry when they receive a knock on the door after dark. But this year, although that risk is reduced as people are choosing not to go door, we encourage you to keep in mind there may be vulnerable people living in your community if you’re in your costumes taking part in pumpkin window display trails and walks after dark.
We know there may be calls to Herts Careline’s control room on Halloween night from anxious residents, so do keep us all in mind so safe, low-Covid-risk fun can be enjoyed by those who want to take part.
