Herts Careline is expanding and looking to recruit for various hours.

Part time or full time available. We run on a 7 week rolling shift pattern. Our core hours are 0700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-0700. Monday to Sunday.

If you have a flexible attitude to this types of shifts then we would love to hear from you.

For the job itself, you will be answering calls from a range of service users, contacts and professionals with various needs. You may deal with someone who is distressed with an emergency medical need; essentially saving their lives. You may provide reassurance to callers on a variety of matters. You may also handle more routine calls like housing repairs, testing of the equipment and updating records. Every day is different.

About You

We are looking for motivated, caring, and hardworking individuals to be first point of contact for our customers in an emergency situation. To succeed as an emergency call handler, you must possess a genuine desire to help people, be empathetic to our customers’ needs, be highly proactive adaptable to change and able to work in a high-pressured environment with high levels of autonomy. Must be computer literate.

Pay

The starting salary for all positions is £10.85 per hour. There are enhancements in addition for any evening work 8pm-6am (@ 0.3) and weekend work (@ 0.5)
