Congratulations to Herts Careline’s Operator, Julie, who joined the first Walk the Night challenge to raise funds to support people affected by breast and prostate cancer #walkthenight

Julie and her friends walked a marathon (26.2 miles) throughout the night on a circular route through London starting and finishing at the King's Cross station.

The route took her group of five past many landmarks including Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.

Julie said: "It was one of the toughest things I’ve done things and can’t believe I finished it but was an amazing night and so proud of us all that we managed to raise so much for a cause with sadly affects so many of us.  There were ups and downs, lots of ache, pains and blisters but it was the huge support between the 5 of us that kept us going to an emotional finish line!  We are so grateful for all the sponsors and lovely messages of support".

The group have so far raised an amazing £1,960, smashing their £1000 target! If you’d like to add to their sponsorship you can visit their fundraising page here
