If you’re concerned about a patient who lives alone, or if they’re recuperating after a hospital stay, or if they’re finding it increasingly difficult to venture outdoors, assistive technology could offer increased reassurance, safety and independence.
In partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, Herts Careline’s community alarm and telecare service provides support to people across the whole of Hertfordshire. A person can wear a pendant alarm button and if they fall or become unwell they can press the button and be connected to our 24/7 emergency Control Room based in Letchworth, Herts, and a highly trained call operator will summon the appropriate help very quickly.
The price of the service is £20 per month and Referrals can be made here.
