Recently, Councillor Claire Winchester spent the afternoon with Herts Careline, spending time in the emergency control room before taking part in a ride along with a Senior Technician.
Cllr Winchester said: “I was delighted to get the opportunity to see behind the scenes at Careline, a service that is a real lifeline for so many of our residents. It’s clear that the whole team share such commitment and dedication to their service users, and I was amazed at the range of incredible technical solutions available that help keep vulnerable people safe. The visit was a real highlight for me as a Councillor, and I am very grateful for the welcome I received from the team.”
Careline supports over 16,000 residents across the county, with community pendant alarm and telecare support and advice available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, often taking 1,500 calls a day. Find out more.
