Included as part of your Herts Careline service is a free Medical Alert Card and a Keyfinder Fob.
Having your personal Medical Alert Card in your purse, wallet or bag is an effective and secure way of providing information about yourself to the emergency services if you become unwell or have an accident when you’re away from home.
In an emergency, you may not be able to speak or give details about yourself to help others to assist you. If a member of the emergency services sees your Medical Alert Card they can follow the simple instructions on it to telephone Herts Careline’s emergency Control Centre - we’ll take care of the rest, providing information that could help and prove invaluable in this type of situation.
