Today is Emergency Services Day, also known as 999 Day – a national day across the UK to support the heroic members of the NHS, Emergency Services and voluntary services.
The Day is supported by HM The King, HRH The Prince of Wales, the Prime Minister and First Ministers of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Our very own Careline control room are in daily, and nightly, contact with these life-saving services, as we call on them to assist our service users if they have a fall, become unwell or are in danger.
We all thank them for their service.
