A device that works at home and outdoors.

Whether you're at home, walking to the shops or visiting a friend, the GO device is with you every step of the way. As it comes with a SEVEN base unit, it doubles up as a home community alarm too.

Peace of mind wherever you are now comes in two options:

  1. SEVEN and GO - the home and away solution. An alarm base unit and device which can be used both inside and outside the home. 
  2. SEVEN and GO telecare - as above with additional telecare devices and sensors that can be linked to the alarm base unit if the service user has additional risks and needs.

For both options, when activated, the device utilises 4G/3G technology and sends an alert along with your GPS location to Herts Careline’s 24/7 control room. The wearer can talk with the call operator over the speakerphone on the device and help will be arranged.

Independence at the press of a button with a device that works both outdoors and inside your home too

Whether you're at home, in town, out walking or visiting a friend, the GO device is with you every step of the way. Combine it with a SEVEN base unit and it doubles up as a home community alarm as well:

It includes:

  • an easy button to press for help
  • a hands-free speakerphone on the GO device
  • fall sensor - upon request (not automatically set)
  • GPS locator - so the control room knows where you are so we can send help. We will send help to your home if you are there. If you are outdoors we will contact a nominated family member or friend to assist you, unless it is an emergency and we will arrange the appropriate emergency help.

It's also water resistant - no problem if it gets wet in the bath, shower or rain. But it is affected by a pacemaker so please see below for more details. 

 

Installation of the outdoor alarm

When you sign up for both the SEVEN base unit and GO device, one of our engineers will install the equipment for you. They'll call you to arrange a convenient time once your application is processed.

We aim to have your emergency home alarm set up within 10 working days but this is often sooner, especially in certain situations. In some emergency cases (such as being discharged from hospital), we will try to install your home alarm within a couple of working days.

Wearing the outdoor device with a pacemaker

If you have a pacemaker, you can't wear Chiptech GO as a device.

Instead, you can use it as a keyring and attach it to your belt or keys. Or, we can supply a longer neck cord that will bring the pendant down to waist level. Chiptech GO must be kept at least 25cm from your pacemaker at all times.

Compatible with other technology

If you have other risks or needs, you can link additional telecare devices to the SEVEN alarm base unit. That includes heat, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors amongst others.
